  1. Version One Venture’s Guide.  Angela Nguyen and Boris Wertz have been long-time proponents of marketplaces and regularly publish highly informational and useful content marketplaces of all kinds. Check out their blog, by clicking on the link provided.
  2. Crowd Companies blog. Jeremiah Owyang and his blog examine the sharing economy side of marketplaces and how they affect economies and the public on a global scale. A tremendously interesting read, full of facts and figures.
  3. Simon's Blog. Simon was the Founder and Global Vice President of eBay Motors, a division of eBay that nationalized the used car market. Nonetheless, he also happens to be a partner at Greylock and puts out fantastic content, as well as exclusive Grey Market marketplace founder-only events.
  4. MarketPlace Rapid Growth: If you are wondering how MarketPlaces have grown so fast and why their presence has become so prevalent, in most industries nowadays, James Currier’s NFX blog says it all. In particular, the post ‘An Epiphany about Network Effects’ that looks at how marketplaces hit hyper-growth, is most definitely reading and sharing.

  6. Marketplace Dinners. Another way to network is to host (and attended other hosted) MarketPlace dinners with an aim to bring together marketplace founders and other like-minded leaders.
